Five Little Bats
Five little bats hanging upside down. The first little one didn’t make a sound.
The second one said, “I’ll fly far tonight.”
The third one said, “I don’t like sunlight.”
The fourth one said, “I want to eat some bugs.”
The fifth one said, “Let me give you a hug.”
Five little bats hanging upside down. Shhh! It’s daytime, don’t make a sound!

• Paint bat
• Cookie cutter bat prints
• Moon painted with half plastic eggs

Science

• Lights on/off to simulate day/night, can play instruments at night to 'wake up' the bats
• 'Bat cave' large box, put feet on ceiling and pretend to hang like bats
• Large scarf bat wings
• Echo!-location, make echo sounds

Large Motor

• Bend at waist and hang 'upside down' like bats
• Flying like bats!
• Ring around the moon, the sky is full of bats, flying, flying, while we are all asleep! ( like ring around the rosie- fall all the way down and asleep at the end )
